Zeke who? The Contractual Game of Chicken, is now a War of the Words

In what has become one of the strangest contract situations in recent memory, the Ezekiel Elliott holdout now has a new public twist. Rookie 4th round running back Tony Pollard has found himself in the middle of the standoff between the Star Running Back, and the Team’s owner Jerry Jones.

It was later clarified that Jerry was just having some fun with the situation
Yes, Jerry Jones said “Zeke who”, when asked if Tony Pollard is his “best negotiator”.

But… this is the full “Zeke who?” sound bite from Jerry, complete with the necessary context of his follow-up to the joke, saying the #Cowboys need both Zeke Elliott and Tony Pollard. pic.twitter.com/yDiZnlwwke
Elliot for his part was not amused by this development, joke or not, after returning to Dallas.
Ezekiel Elliott was not amused by Saturday’s “Zeke who?” quip from Jerry Jones and thought it was “disrespectful,” according to Elliott’s agent. “I didn’t think it was funny and neither did Zeke – we actually thought it was disrespectful,” Rocky Arcineaux told @mortreport.
